Default Blew up rear brakes

Kay so me and a group went off roading all day yesterday. Went through some rough stuff but my jeep crawled slowly through all of it, with the exception of a few unexpected foot or so drops off logsz

Then I started hearing a whining or whistling once in a while- I've heard jt before - a pebble or stone caught in rotor....

Well then it felt like I turned my rear locker on, I couldn't turn it just kept driving straight. I put it in reverse and heard a bang and then my steering was okay. Well I drove a couple of feet and realized I lose brake pressure and was leaking.

I'm good mechanically but not too familiar with what I broke. Hoping to pull the wheel off tomorrow and take better pics and better survey.

The rotor broke in half, and then the caliper mount is broken in half, the brake dust cover or whatever that thing is mangled a bit too but not rubbing.

Have vice grips saving it now, jeep is not throwing any codes or anything interestingly enough.

Should I just source whatever parts I need oem (rotor, pads, caliper, mount and idk what else-

Or is there a good aftermarket rear brake upgrade? I couldn't find any for not too much money

Thanks!

I did a similar thing, only I was 40 miles in the middle of the desert by myself. Snapped my caliper clean off. Dust cover was folded into a giant mess thank baby Jesus for zip ties and a pry bar.

I had to tear the caliper completely apart and put em back together and easy out the bolts for the axle.
Luckily it didn't rip the brake line, that was the longest limp along ride of all time.
Couldn't update cause I run 15s, I think it's just a freak occurrence

I think that's what happened to me too! I had a 60 mile limp home but was able to pick up some fluid and maintained pressure entire way home- didn't use brakes much - downshifted for majority of it!

From what I can see brembo is only brake lot upgrade for rear I have found. It looks like calipers, pads and rotors but I probably need more.

Control arm is really bent as well. Think I kicked a big rock or stone or log in there while driving. Control arm mount on axle is Bent as well :-(...hoping I can find someone to fix or straighten up!

That's what I was thinking might have happened when I first read this yesterday. Must have been some serious force.

Crazy. The only thing it could have been was something that got caught in there and I'm guessing me spinning tires caused damage. But i agree, serious force must have did this but really can't think of anything else it could have been. Looks more like someone hit me
