Default Help - ARB RD157 install in a Rubicon Dana 44 housing

I am working on installing an ARB RD157 air locker in a take off rubicon Dana 44 housing on my 2007 JKUx (not a rubi). The D44 housing I have is basically stripped so I bought all new stuff.

ARB RD-157
Synergy ARB adapter
ARB diff cover
5.13 Ring and pinion
master overhaul kit
RCV 35-spline axle shafts
RCV axle tube seals
Dynatrac Prosteer ball joints
Reid knuckles
Rotors and pads

The housing I picked up already has a purejeep truss and gussets.

There appear to be two ports out of the housing for the factory rubicon electric locker. One on top of the center section is to engage/disengage the locker. The other is on the back side by the diff breather tube and it appears to be used for the factory locker sensor. With the ARB locker installed the air bulkhead fitting utilized the whole on the top of the housing.

I need to plug the port on the back side of the housing. What are people using to plug that port?

This is the port I'm talking about.

No problem.

But I did have an idea. Why not give a shop like ORW, Evo, or even Northridge a call and ask them. I'm sure they'd help you out.

Can't you just go to a hardware store and get a threaded plug and screw it in?

Yup. That and the hardware store option is going to happen today.

I found a solution that seems to be working. Time will tell.
