Default mtr stickies 40/13.50/17

So i found a good deal on some mtrs and was wondering what they are like on the road? They do say offroad use only. Do they wear out really quick? Do they melt at highway speeds? Trying to debatr if its worth it. Any help would be appreciated

Stickies are not for on road use. They are not DOT approved.

That being said, You can get about 10k miles out of sticky Maxxis Trepadors if you run them at 45 psi on the street. This is very unusual for a sticky tire.

I highly doubt you would get that many miles out of sticky MTRs used on the street.

I recently bought a set of 39" BFG Krawler stickies, but I've mounted them to a different set of beadlocks to essentially run as off road only.

Stickies are not safe for street driving. Sidewalls and everything are designed differently. As for the rubber, assuming it's really a sticky, they'd evaporate in under 2000 miles. Highway speeds are really bad, especially if it's hot out. Basically, stickies don't belong on pavement.

Offroad they are awesome!
