Default Ideas on extending auto shifter or new knob

I'm looking to raise the shifter in my 2012 auto. it is a little low. I always rest my hand on it while driving and would like to raise it. 1) how do you remove the factory knob? 2) does anyone make an extender? is there and aftermarket or an idea for a longer knob?

There is no after market extender for automatic. Only for standards. Rough country sells them

Buy a piece of stainless tubing from McMaster-Carr. Cut it to desired length and attach it. As for the knob removal, Google it. There are instructions on how to do it. I did both of mine. Pretty easy.
