Default Quadratec winches

I'm looking to get a Q- series 9500 winch. Has anyone had any issues with the Quadratec winches?

I had that exact winch and I used it only a handful of times but it worked great!

I have their Q11000. Works great so far, given it's been only a year. I liked that the Q-tec winches come with a nice solid warranty that they do stand behind

Are you guys running the stock battery with these winches? Been looking at a qtec winch also but really don't want to replace the battery. Sorry for the hijack.

Good question Lulu, I'm running an Optima yellow top. According to their specs, the Q-tec winches do draw less power than most other winches that fit into the same category. Being I run the optima, I can't speak for other batteries

I have the Q9500i. The first one failed during my first cable retensioning. Quadratec rushed me a replacement motor. Never had an issue since.

I knew there's a member here that always comes to mind when it comes to the Q-tec winches and their warranty.
edit: have synthetic line

I have had the Quadratec Q9000S on my Jeep for about a year. The first one they sent me had a dead solenoid right out of the box. They were quick to replace it and took care of all related shipping charges. I only have one serious pull with it; a buddy of mine was stuck in some pretty deep and sticky Georgia red clay. The Quadratec winch pulled him out without any drama. I think it is a great winch for this price point.
