Had windshield replaced, installer took a chunk of paint with him- what would you do?
Last winter my '13 JKU Billet windshield cracked from a stone chip, about 10 inches long in the middle of the glass. I lived with it for a while because I feared this exact situation. (I used to work in body shops and paint cars in my younger days, so I have seen it all.) I'm going to be changing over my insurance to my new wife's NJM, so I decided to bite the bullet and pay the $100 deductible and have it done before I changed over. Safelite did the install at my work, as I am on the road driving a bus during the day. Initially, I was pleased with how clean the car was, as well as the fit and placement of the glass. The installer left 2 strips of tape on the upper glass, and left me a note to leave them on for a day until the glue sets. So I took the tape off and thought I saw a blob of urethane on the paint, ok I will just clean it off... wrong, it was black pinch weld primer dabbed onto where a quarter inch or more chunk of paint was taken off. I know its a Jeep, bit I'm a little pissed, as I really don't want to get into finding a paint shop, having the paint not match, or adding layers of paint to an area that gets hammered as it is. I called the shop, and they said they would make good on it. I'm ready to just hit it with some touch up paint and move on, but the principle is they damaged my factory paint. Just wanted some other opinions of what others would do, or if you have had a similar experience. Attached a pic, thanks...
I use to worry about stuff like that when I first got my jeep .... Then I took it out on the trail. I realized that if you ever take it out on the trail you will find that there are many unavoidable situation that leave scratches and dents on your jeep. Then it makes this little blemish almost disappear from your mind.

Sucks, completely understand where you're coming from. I would try to get them to pay me for having to touch it up and a couple bucks to make me happy $50 or $100 would be nice. Just hit it with touch up and move on.

I'd hit it with touch-up.
After being annoyed about it, of course.
I don't know that I'd call the window people--I think getting the runaround and them likely denying liability would just anger me more. But, it might be worth a shot if you think you can get something out of them.
