Default Seat advice with herniated disc on lumbar spine

Hi all!
I have a 2008 jk.

Something about the jeep seat irritates my hernitated disc! I have l4 and l5 herniations. No other vehicle irritates it like the jeep seat . Does anyone have any helpful advise from experience?
What mods can I do or what seat should I buy?
Thank you all in advance.

If you want to spend the money, I think twisted stitch will make a pretty custom seat for you.

Have you tried a lumbar support pillow?

I got one from Amazon a few years ago and it worked really well to relieve the pain from an L5-S1 herniation.

Yeah I have tried one and still puts foot and leg to sleep with pain.
Maybe I need a smaller one or softer one.
Thanks for replay.

Had the same l4-l5 rupture... tried lumbar cushions, dead pedal rest (helped a little), nothing really helps until I had the spinal fusion done. Wish I had done it years ago.

Checking in, mine is L3/L4. The factory seating position sucks.

Don't got a herniated disk but get pain in the right hip and thigh after driving for a while. The longer the drive the worse the pain. I've tried all different types of seating positions and no luck. Other than this issue the seats are fine. Anyone have an idea about this?

What works for me.... Two layers of sleeping pad foam between the springs and the stock seat foam. This makes the seat bottom (where your ass goes) flatter. Then I have to jack the seat up 4-5 cycles on the height adjuster (left side of the seat). And finally, I put my wallet in my front pocket and remember to change my posture frequently. I'm good for about 10-12 hours if I stop and walk around every couple of hours.

I've had L4 to L5 contact (flattened disc) for 15 years and it's just about time for me to visit the doc for repairs.
