Default 2" coil spacer on top of 3.5" lift

I will be installing my new FMF front winch bumper and winch soon.

To compensate for the lost height, I will be adding 2" coil spacers to each corner of my jk.

Rear bumper to come soon.

Has anyone done this before?

If you have quality coils they should be able to handle the extra weight. See how much you loose and go from there, you'll probably need a .5 or 1" spacer at the most.

A lot of people add spacers on top of coils, it is fairly common. But as noted, you should probably wait until after the weight is on before deciding on spacers. Maybe just 3/4" or 1" fronts, and nothing in the rear. Adding 2" all the way around will probably just cause extra issues from the added height that you would need to take care of.

Don't jump the gun, wait until the bumper and winch is on and see how much more lift you need to level it out. It might not be as much as you think you do right now!

I had to do this after my winch and bumper install. 3/4" spacer was perfect ( front only)

X2, a 3/4" spacer on the front was perfect to compensate on my JKU after installing my Ace Bumper and Engo Winch.
