Default 1.25 teraflex body lift questions

Newbie here. I have been doing some research and this is what I want to do.
1.25 Teraflex body lift.
Keep stock 18" wheels
Upgrade to 275 tires.
Spacers
Modify bumper with vdp endcaps

My question is does anyone have this 1.25 body lift? Pictures of the look? What are your thought on keeping the stock wheels? No serious muddling maybe a trip or two a year but nothing extreme. Looking forward to some help.

A lot of people are running stock wheels with spacers. No issues, as long as you install correctly/use loktite, and check them as part of normal maintenance.

Many people do not like body lifts, but it will be fine for your use. I haven't looked at the one from TF, but ran the 1.25" RC body lift for a few years (RC's come with shift adapters and brackets to raise the bumper). You will notice the extra gap, but not bad with the low height. Much more noticeable on lighter/brighter JK's than my dark green.

Just saw that the TF kit says grill removal is not required? That's a nice bonus, I had to remove my winch to get the grill off.

Default Thanks for the response another ?

My thought is that by adding a 1.25 body lift to accommodate bigger tires I am also creating a little more flex. I am going to notice this when I do take the wife wheelin? Or should I scratch the body lift?

A body lift alone won't create any extra suspension flex.

If your lifted it will allow you to use less bumpstop. If you are lnow lifted and add bigger tires you may not have to add any bumpstop. So yes it will give you more up travel

Op yes I run this kit and it was a very easy install. It's noticeable to me only because I know I have it

So the only thing I am getting is tire clearance to run a bigger tire in turn would raise the clearance due to a bigger tire size? 2-3"?

True, but the OP is on a stock suspension. As I said, a body lift alone for the OP won't increase the up travel or flex of the stock suspension. It will increase the fender clearance for a tire that's taller than the stock tire size.

I know that means more up travel which most people refer to as "flex" which is what he was asking. Without the body lift he would rub his stock fender on stock bumpstop a. With the body lift he won't rub when his bumpstop is fully compressed
