First off i have a black jku. I have some new wheels coming. Went with ruddged ridge in their gunmetal grey color. Wanted something other than black wheels on a black jeep. Figured the contrast would be a nice change of pace from the norm. Ok so my question is shortly i will be buyung new bumpers, rock rails and metal fenders. At first i was going to paint everything black. After thinking about it a lil bit. Was thinking i may paint the rock rails and bumpers same grey as the wheels. Should i also paint the fenders grey too or go black and do the rails and bumpers in grey. Or will it be too much grey going on if i do everything in grey?

 

It's your jeep paint it however you want...

Drop a picture in photoshop or something similiar and do a mock up with different colors and see if you like the look.

 

Sounds like I've got the opposite color scheme as you do... Went with the granite crystal JK and doing all black trim. Hard to picture going with anything other than black for the bumpers/fenders/ect on a black JK, but could look cool. I've always been a fan of the black on black, so my opinion may be a little biased... I'd do a little photoshop on it to see if you like.

 

Yeah everyone does the murdered out look. The full Metal fab works bumper thread had got me thinking bout changing it up a lil bit.
