Default RC BB + Stock Shocks. Need new wheels?

First i just want to say hello. my first post. just got my 08 Silver X 2 Door about two weeks ago.

I looked around and searched but couldn't find a definitive answer.

I want to get the Rough Country BB and use my Stock shocks. I have a couple questions

a. Does it come with shock extensions?
b. Do I need new wheels or wheel spacers?
c. Any worries about using stock shocks with lift.

I do plan to do offroading. Nothing too crazy but not just dirt road driving either.

Please let me know.

BTW no photos of my new Wrangler but heres what I traded from.

Default lift questions

Yes this lift comes with shock extenders. You can use your stock rims and tires. The only thing you might have any issues with is severe rock crawling without the new socks.

Good trade up by the way. I love my JK.

Im getting the RC 2.5 BB and going to use Rubi Shocks.

I think you should be fine. Obviously if your going to be doing moab type stuff then you'd might think about going a different route.

It does come with shock extensions.

I'll let you know how it turns out. We're supposed to have a "lift party" and WOL is going to teach me a thing or two about lifting a jeep.

Can't wait!!!!!!

Yes, it comes with the shock extensions.

Yes, you can use stock wheels.

Yes, you can offroad with it. If you encounter max flex situations you might want to put in some bump stops. That's it.

in the online instructions is says the draglink must be centered to the steering wheel. Before i drive. How do I do this? Can I do it or does a shop need to.

x2. I upgraded to the RC Performance 2.2 shocks shortly after installing the kit with shock extensions. I'm very happy with the new shocks.

Also add rear break line extension brackets to the kit, they are $1 each and well worth it. If you get full flex in the rear you will need them.

I also purchased the BDS rear track bar bracket to center the rear axle.

It is easier to fix your draglink than it will be to hold those rear spacers in place and thread the bolt to the washer/welded bolt on top of the bucket.

IF you are by yourself that is by far the worst part of the install. (if you call any of it hard)

BTW....there is a way-o-life write up on recentering your steering wheel here!
