Anybody been over to JK freaks, all the posts seem to be from ages ago.

 

I subscribe but haven't been over there in some time.....

 

I haven't seen any activity over there either

 

The last few times I logged on, it would only let me read current posts like 2 times, then would disallow any searches, updates, etc. UNLESS you paid for the subscription. Bite me.
You smoke me with ads and you want me to pay as well...

 

No not a dead forum. Not a crazy amount of activity, but there are current posts.

 

Seems current to me... There is always 15 to 20 currents posts daily

Was an unpaid member for a while before I decided to show my support, just as I do here (I might be due for a renewal soon). Never had an issue reading current posts. Maybe you have Freaks confused with another forum. But it NEVER forced me to subscribe. Ever. The only thing being a paid supporter gets me on either forum is more inbox messages and a cute little badge next to my handle.

It's not as heavy as JK-Forum, but there is a bit more of a community feel. The Freaks in my area get together for regular meet and greets and wheeling/wrenching events. I see that in other parts of the US as well, so I know it's not isolated. I don't get that same feel on any of the other forums I visit. Not that it doesn't exist, but just not to that level.

I like both JK-Forum and JKFreaks and will continue to support both of them.
