Default Ingenious or ineffective way to keep water OUT

Would one benefit from keeping the cabin pressurized with the HVAC on the jeep during a water crossing? with a constant outflow of air anywhere water could get in the water would have to over power the cabin pressure which can be impressive. " try closing the door with the heat blasting". it almost doesn't want to close. What are peoples thoughts.

The vent in the tailgate would prevent any pressure from building up inside the cabin.

this. And, your HVAC would have to produce enough pressure to push back the water intrusion. If it's that much of a concern, don't go in deep water.

If it was a sealed box it might help the door seals... but the tailgate vent is of good size. I can't imagine there being enough air pressure to keep the water from coming in through the tailgate vent.

Try it with and without and let us know!

I doubt it would help in a water crossing, but in the car wash with the soft top on, I know it helps a little. When the soap is on, I can see bubbles on the outside of gaps around the windows and top.

It certainly can't hurt, though.

You're not going to be able to do that.
