winch mounting front and rear
You should look into a multi-mount set up. You set up a receiver hitch front and rear, and wiring with quick disconnects to both the front and rear, and then leave the winch on the multi-mount, in the cargo area if you want to keep it out of the weather, and manually move it front or rear. Seems very heavy, but would be cheaper than two separate winches. I went with just putting the winch on the front. Happy Jeeping.

I run the Smuggler bumper with the winch in the rear. I love it. I use the rear as much as I use the front.
The only issue with installing the rear winch is the power supply. I had to run 2 HUGE cables from my dual batteries in the front to the winch in the rear. If I had it to do over I would have put the 2nd battery in the rear of the Jeep.
