Default Those who have Teraflex 2.5BB???

Think I have finally decided to go with Teraflex but I had a few questions. I was going to go with the 2.5 BB with shocks and front coils. Why doesn't TF make rear coils for the 2.5 lift? I understand they make this kit with front coils due to weight for bumpers and winches. And to fix the rake. But why not make some rear coils too?

Did any of you have issues after putting the lift on with the axles not being centered? How do I fix this if it occurs? Do I have to buy an adjustable front and rear trackbar? Does TF make a rear location bracket so I don't have to buy a rear trackbar? Brake cable extensions? And different control arms?

Guess basically what I getting at is if I put the kit on am I going to run into problems because the axles aren't straight. I am going to attempt the install myself and just want to know what I need to do to make everything right. Do I have to get an alighnment done after the install?

Thanks Tim

I have the TF 2.5" BB but not with the new springs, or shocks. I got the spacers up front and out back, with the shock extensions, and I added the 3/4" Skyjacker spacers up front to help when I put a winch on. The kit came with brake line extension brackets, and the sway bar links too. My axels are off by barely 1/8-1/4" and unless you know it is there, you don't notice it. No bad changes with the drivability. I don't get ESP warnings, nothing. I have 315/70R17 BFG AT, and there is no rubbing or clearance issues. If the 1/4" axel thing just really bothers you, you can get adjustable trackbars to correct it. As far as I know, you don't need an alignment afterwards. I didn't do one and I can't tell any difference. Just have to straighten the steering wheel after. Oh, I have an 07 unlimited X. I have had the lift for 7-9000 miles and no problems or complaints. Love it.

Teraflex now has a rear track bar bracket for this kit. It will be included in all new kits (unless you get one thats siting on a dealer shelf already). It is a "frame side" bracket so you don't have to worry about breaking off the "axle side" track bar mount. If the kit you order doesn't have the part you can get it for $27.99 msrp.

I got the kit with the shock adapters. i had to do a little adjustment to the sway bar links to prevent rubbing as I still have stock wheels and no spacers (moved them to the inside) but otherwise it works great. i just ordered the track bar brackets to bring my rear end back closer the center (pushed about 1.5" to the passenger side), but you can't tell they are off center though, just looks weird. if you are running stock wheels though, get the 1.5" Spidertrax spacers as well. I'm saving up for them and once on I'll relocate the sway bar links badk to their original location.

Their catalog shows 4 coils available for the 2.5 lift.

Very nice. Thanks for the link to the catalog. Never saw the kits offered with 4 coils before. Definitely going with this lift now.

The kit installs easy. Jack her up, unbolt the shocks and sway bar and the springs almost fall out. Becareful on how much preasure you put on the brake lines you can do this by placeing a jack stand under the Arm thingy to keep from over stretching them.

Have they upped the price when adding this? If not, I wonder if they will send you one if you bought a kit that does not have it.

I didnt know they had a 2.5" spring lift. Thats exactly what i want I figure, with this, i can get adj links, some flat fenders, and run 35s easily, have room for plenty of flex, and maintain a low cog. Way to go Teraflex

Does anybody have this kit??
