Default hard rock package no lift and 34-35"s???

I am planning on this set up since the hard rock package already rides about an inch higher that stock ( so I am told by the dealer sales person heavier springs.?) is this true?

my question is can I run 34-35 on stock rims without spacers or wheels if I trim the fenders?

or is it necessary to lift the vehicle no matter what to run ( rub free) 34-35. tire?

vehicle is a 4 dr rubicon stick with the hard rock package.

. I am thinking of a tire with a manufacturers spec of 34.4 .

You will need spacers with factory rims or aftermarket rims, obviously the spacers being cheaper. I am not sure about the clearance with that ride height but you will more than likely need to trim your factory fenders or get flat fenders. I believe there is something else you will need to trim up front but am not too sure as i just lifted mine before adding tires. I know someone else will chime in.

Even if it sits an inch taller the bump stops and up travel is still the same as every other JK. 35s will fit with trimming the flares and back spacing of 4.5" or less.

I have a 2014 sport no lift and 35 inch bfg km2s. You will need bumpstops and trimmed fenders.

Is the inch taller comparison with sport or a Rubicon?

You're going to need to "push" the tire farther out. The problem is not just rubbing the fenders. The tires will rub the lower control arm up front when you turn. You'll need new wheels with 4.5" of backspacing or wheel spacers. Also, you may need to trim the pinch seam, my 35's barely clear the rear when I flex and I'm sitting on 4-5" of lift.

You might be thinking of the factory air dam? If not, I'm not sure what else it could be besides the control arms, but I wouldn't try to trim those

I think he's referring to the air damn too. I trimmed off both the smaller sections when I went to 35's due to rubbing.

with a 35 the tire is going to be wider. You need to address the back spacing. The 10a isn't a magical jeep. Your going to need some Lift and backspacing or trimmed/flat fenders
