Default 15' JK gas door

Ey guys
I just bought my first Wrangler this week. Just wanted to know if anyone has a recommendation for a good quality gas door cover that locks? Are there just Rugged Ridge and AMI billet?

My wife has one on her JK. I don't like it. The paint is chipping for no reason and the lock is cheap. I would recommend a locking gas cap instead.

I had a Drake Off Road fuel door on my Jeep for about a year with a locking cap underneath it. It didn't fit with my corner guards though, but it looked really good. You can get a locking gas cap from mopar for like 30-40 bucks.

Ok thanks for the insight. I'm leaning towards the Mopar locking gas cap and the door without the lock. Any suggestions on which type of door isn't poor quality and doesn't have pain chipping?

Go to O'Reilly Auto parts and get a locking cap for about $10. Has worked great on my 2014.

Later,

You can find the Mopar textured non-locking door for around $40. IM me and I can point you in the right direction

I've had the Mopar door for six years and it's still like new.
