Default all terrain tires 34 dia reccomendation

Thinking about putting on a new set of tires I wan t something good for dry rocky offroad conditions ( so cal) but pretty quiet on the highway just came of a set of flakiness which worked great I got love 70,000 miles on them but I wan to try something new so I a looking for an all terrain tire that isn't loud but does decent offered and in snow.

what suggestions do you have?
anyone running the terra grapplers g-2 or the bfg all terrain 2

Goodyear duratrac 315/70/17. A hair over 34 in.

Benefits

- Nice ride on road
- Good off road
- lighter (weight wise ) comparatively ... That said invest in a hd tire carrier, like one from teraflex
- Easier to find than the toyos (seem like more people stock)

I had GY Duratracs on my XJ. Will be putting them on when my stockers are done. It would take a lot of convincing to get me to purchase any other tire. They are awesome for all around use.

Happy Jeeping!

I have had 285/75-17 (34's) and now 35x12.5-17's and I have had them in every kind of condition and they do very well and still ride smooth and quiet on the pavement.

I've had the Terra Grappler G2s in 285/75r17 for about a month. I can only comment on road manners right now, but so far they have been great. They are quiet and do really well in the rain. They also offer a 50k or 65k tread warrantee depending on size.
