Default Roof Rack for a 2dr

Im looking for a roof rack that isn't like the gobi or other type racks. Im looking for a rack that is only on the back part of the two door Ive seen the Garvin rack but its a little out of my price range. I like the idea of using a track system but I'm not sure of any company that makes a similar product. I also wonder if anyone has another suggestion that might work better for around $250-$300 range. Thanks for anyones help in advance.

Sam

One rack I will be looking into soon for my 2 door is the artificial rain gutter mounted rack. Search "artificial rain gutter roof rack jk"on google and find the jeepforum.com result. Whole write up is available there. Hope this helps

Thanks man but I'm looking for something lower to the roof. I'm looking to carry camping gear and other similar items. Thanks for the help though i have a friend who is looking for a way to carry his two kayaks and i will share that thread with him.

how low do you want them? You can buy the gutter towers that are 5 inches tall. The ones shown in the thread are 8 inches if that helps at all.

I found a thread and he used some U bolts with some ruberr washers and drilled in to the hard top and it was pretty low amd seemed preet stable so im thinking about going that route. I dont have a whole lot of room in the garage so i have to keep it pretty low ive got about 8-9 inches.

The $200-$300 is a bit tough. MBRP seems to match your needs...except in price.

What are you going to use the rack for? Or how much weight or you thinking of putting up there?
