Default EVAP Cannister- skid or relocate?

So I am debating which direction to take, that thing is just asking to be hit by rocks!

So Kilby relocation kit or one of the available skids like the Rockhard???

Which did you all do?

Default kilby

Hey Nj
I would recommend the kilby relocate kit, just had mine installed only because it was at the shop for diff leak otherwise i would have done it myself...its really nice kit, comes with nice skid plate too even though i dont think anything could hit it above the axle.....leaving it where it is with just a skid covering it is still asking for it to be hit and possibly ripped off if u ask me

Hey is your club going to moab this yr? I thought i saw that..

Tim

The North Jersey club is going to Moab. We have a couple trips planned, WV, VA, and VT.
www.njjeep.org is our site.

Thanks for the info on the Kilby kit!

Any difference in the woods vs. kilby kit?

Do both have a skid plate too?

There were rumors about a TSB on the evap. can. Any word on that, I was kinda holding out to see if that came to fruition.

I have the skid plate. Easy to install and absolutely NO question about warranty issues.

x3 on the woods kit. great product ,gets it up out of the way and no warranty issues for me.
with a skid plate over the original located EC you are still going to crush that plastic thing in my opinion.

I did the WOODS kit. It's cheaper than the Kilby. In regards to a skid. My opinion is it adds more weight to our already heavy JK's and the evap stays in a bad spot. Not only is in still in a bad spot but now you have a heavy metal skid plate that hangs down further than it did before. Get the WOODS relocation bracket and forget about it.
