Questions regarding lift
I have a '13 2 door manual and just ordered a Rock Krawler 2.5 stock mod with AEV drop brackets and 35s.
i understand drop brackets arent ideal, but for now it fits the budget till i can save for the full control arm setup
until i get the money:
1. will i be ok to DD without disconnecting on the factory driveshafts?
2. do i need brake line extensions if i dont plan on disconnecting?
3. do i need exhaust spacers with no plans on disconnecting?

2. I would replace brake lines because it's a safety issue. But you could jack up your Jeep to droop the axles and see how much extra you have. Just remember you don't achieve full droop unless the opposite wheel is stuffed so make sure you have plenty of extra. But again, I would replace.
3. Something you could check while drooping the axle for the brake lines. I don't think it would make contact without disconnecting but never tried. I suppose if you have deep potholes it's possible. I drove mine for a while after the lift before having a muffler shop move the crossover back and never made contact.
I think you'll be good for on road travel. The only other thing you may need is longer rear sway bar links. The sway bar sides should be level with the ground or a little higher on the link side. After you install the lift, it they're pointing downward I would just get longer links. Your kit already has the front links. What backspacing did you get for your wheels, they should be 4.5" or less so you don't rub anything.
yah i already have a wish list on amazon for longer rear links and both front and rear brake line brackets.
the wheels are 17x9 pro comp 7069s, they came off a guys 4 door so i know they will fit. also i might still put a 1 inch spacer on em if it doesnt have a wide enough stance for me.
im just ready to get this done, its been itching me since i bought the jeep back in june

If you are running the factory shocks without extensions your overall articulation will not change and will not affect any of the issues you brought up including the brake lines.
You want to use adapters not spacers to move out wheels and 1.25" is the smallest that I know of.
Good luck with the build.

ill be running the Bilsteins that northridge has in their kit with the stock mod. I wont be disconnecting at all until i save up for the front drive shaft at least and get the rear links and the brake extensions.
