Default What 15in wheels work on JKU?

So I have been in the market for tires for awhile and I have thinking about 35s. These are the biggest size tires that I want to put on my jeep. It is a DD. I have debated on whether or not to get 35 on 15in wheels or 35s on 17in wheels. I am really looking at going to 15in wheels because of the price of tires. My only concern is finding 15in wheels that fit on JKU. My question is what 15in wheels work with JKU? Do 15in wheels work on JKU? I am going to put the tires on first and then save up for gears and lockers shortly after.

People have found variations in the calipers from the factory --> a set of 15's that did not rub on one JK, but did rub after being swapped to a second...

Try this thread: Note the list of rims they guarantee will fit.

15" MB Razors fit. Pulled them from my 07 before I traded it in and went right on my 15.

Will 35s 12.5 work with MB wheels since they are 8" wide and not bigger?

A lot of people run that set up. I have 33x12.5's on my 15" MB TKO's and haven't had any issues.

^^ this. I recently bought wheels from the thread above, the American Outlaw Deputy (15x8.5) mounted with BFG AT KO (35×12.5). Should be at my doorstep tonight. (:

Did your MB wheels require and modification to the brakes? How much space to you have left?

No mods. I have seen Discount Tire Direct claim on a forum or two that they were designed around the JK. I'll see if I can get a picture.

I have 15" MB Razor w/ 35" KM2s . No rubbing or modifications needed but i do often get rocks stock between the caliper and rims causing it to carve a groove into the inner part of the rim

I have a set of AR23's in 15x10 w/ BFG 35x12.50x15's on them. I just kind of went in a different direction from the bigger wheels. I always liked the older look of small wheels big tires. A little rubbing on the front bumper but that's only in reverse at full turn (also maybe bc I go 280lbs).

Edit: The only lift I have/had on my '12 and now '14 was an RC 2.5" budget boost and the Teraflex 2.5" BB
