Default Axle Seals - Which do you like or does it matter?

I was looking at doing some work on my axles ('13 JKU D30/D44) and thought about adding some aftermarket axles seals to keep mud and debris out.

Do you have a favorite brand or type or does it even matter? In other words, is one particular brand better than the other? If recommend a specific one, please be specific (manu./model).

Just thought since our terrain consist of a lot of mud, clay and some gravel that this would be a good idea.

Thanks.

They wont keep mud and water out, it'll just hold it in. In all honesty, I wouldn't waste money on them, but if they give you piece of mind go for it. All of them share a similar design so just choose by price, color, and availability.

New inner axle seal its mire than sufficient. When I did my differentials I didnt replace them. Put the axles back in very carefully to ensure I didnt damage the seal. But the passenger side didnt make it and then I was leaking diff oil.

Replace the inner seal and you should be good to go.

I have had to do my inner axle seals twice now on my 13. And although those outer seals would keep the crap out of the tubes, it will also hide an inner axle seal leak. Unless your axle tubes are very clean or you plan to clean them out very well I would avoid them. Mopar has redesigned the inners. They are now a 2 piece design. I hope they hold up better
