Default Higher sway bar location after suspension work, Problem or not?.

So I did some work on my front suspension, drag link flip, etc... the disconnects mount a few inches higher off the axle (new bracket) and my sway bar is now about 2+" higher,, or you could say setting at ~10:30 o'clock vs the ~9 o'clock. (parallel to frame) position
I have fully flexed both sides and the bar doesn't rub or interfere with anything.
I was wondering if there is something I don't see this new position causing problems with, or causing added ware to??
My first thought has been to put my stock ones back on, or buy adjustable ones, but since I didn't see interference I am thinking no need.
I would like to here from some of you guys that seem to know your Jeeps pretty good, or better then I do.
Does this or will this cause a problem I am not seeing?

thanks

Shouldn't be a problem. It's lower that's a concern. I would test it at full stuff and make sure it doesn't hit the body mount but you should be good. You probably should hack off the round knubbies that stick out of the frame too. I can post a pic of mine if you don't know what I mean.

I have tested it a full flex both sides,,, and have gone wheeling with it causing pretty much full flex.
both times i didn't see issues... but wasn't sure if I was missing something.. what I didn't notice was the bar is rubbing those so called frame knobs... I'll grind those down some.
nice catch and thanks...

You're welcome. I used a sawzall and had them both off and painted in about 10 minutes.

yea, one of the quickest fixes... I'll use a grinder.. no sawzall... You must have the same swaybar resting point.. (you sneaked in some pics ... :-) )
Now that I look under there again I'm surprised I miss that...
you could say it's been bugging me for a month... finally thought,, post the question stupid... LOL

I would say mine are between 10 and 10:30. I have the MC discos at their shortest adjustment too.

Now that I grinded the one knob on the driver side to clear the sway bar, I've decided to reinstall my OEM links.

I found this..... acceptable sway bar range 0* (-5* to +5*)

Not that I'm convenience that this is really an issue I'm going to correct it and get it closer to the so called acceptable range.

The key is to check it at flex and droop to make sure it won't flip the sway bar and bend the end links.

How much lift are you running? It looks like you're running stock bump stop with the drag link flip? Does the drag link contact the frame at flex?

thanks for this info.. learning more about this.
the disconnect was engaged when I did the test... I don't run off road with out the disco engage, unless it's mild off roading.

ended up with a close to 3.375"
drag link doesn't contact the frame at flex.. this was probably my biggest concern when I did my flex test.

I do now think I'm better off going back to the smaller OEM links.
