General Tire Grabber or BF Mud 35"x12.5R17
Whats up Jeepers, i have a Jk Rubicon 09 i want to buy some new tires, i actually have 255 BF Mud, but i want some 35"s. I was thinking to buy some General, they look sick, but i dont know what are the cons on these tires. Please give me some opinions!! I will appreciated!!

I have the Grabbers in 35 x 12.50 -17 and I like them a lot.

They look great.

I only have 2 issues with them:
1. They are heavy - wheel & tire is just over 100 lbs. (but I have not compared them to other brands)
2. The sidewalls are quite stiff - they are E rated in the 35" size (33" are C rated) , where some 35s are C rated with softer sidewalls.
Tough sidewalls are a good thing for rocks, they just don't soften up until you get below about 16 PSI. And the traction is awesome.

Thanks man! Haven't changed the gears yet, it runs pretty well. I have added a CAI, an exhaust and a programmer. All of that is getting me 16+ MPG on the freeway, so I don't think I need to change. Plus I have the 4:1 transfer case for off road. You however have the 3.8L motor, so your experience may be different.
