Default Need Help Diagnosing Noise [VIDEO] - Clicking / Pinging / Banging from Front

Heard after I put it back into 2wd and then accelerated hard left turn onto the main rd, now it's continuous. Was in 4wd on my icy street just prior. Was much louder than this at first, but got quieter as I drove. I can't see anything visually wrong with a flashlight looking under - but I'm not sure if I'd notice a cracked ujoint or anything else.

The video makes it sound like squeaking, but in reality it's more metallic and bangey - and definitely from the front right. I looked under expecting to find something frayed wrapped around the axle end and smacking metal on every revolution, but i didn't see anything... It's not really consistent either.

I want some ideas before I bring it in...

I just had my axle seals replaced not 1,000 miles ago.

2013 JKU Sport S, manual transmission.

I was thinking something tapping on a heat shield or something. I'm listening on my iPhone so it's not all that good. Maybe the axle wasn't seated right? Grinding splines? Dunno...

A bad u joint can look fine by looks. But when tire lifted in air its easier to diagnose. My u joints needle bearings wore down to powder

Well I have it scheduled to be brought in on Monday to figure out whats wrong - hopefully its something thats actually broken and covered under warranty and I won't get hit with a stupid diagnosis fee.

I swear I could feel a low speed clunking when I was in a parking lot last night (but very hard to replicate), and also it happens as low as 5 MPH, so that rules out something loose caused by wind. So I'm thinking something is munged up on the axle somewhere.

Almost sounds like something with the driveshaft. Are you getting any weird vibrations in the jeep? Every u joint I've had go bad usually shakes the hell outa of the jeep when it goes.( I've learned that the chirping sound is usually the first sign of a bad u joint.) yours sounded more like a grinding noise to me. I would have them look at the t case to be safe. U joints are easy t cases not so much
