Default Spacer Lift Brake Line Extension Brackets

I recently installed the AEV 2" spacer lift, and found the brake line extension solutions to be insufficient (front) or non-existent (rear).

I had come across a picture of the Pro Comp front brake line relocation brackets, did some research on google, found the part numbers, then ran them through some different suppliers to find some stock. I found them through Summit Racing, and they were $7.99 each. I also got the Rubicon Express rear brake line relocation brackets. This kit should come with something along these lines (zip ties, really?), but it all worked out.

Hopefully any of you considering a puck lift can use this information to complete your kits, as most seem to gloss over this area.

I swapped in some 18 Rubi springs and a 1" spacer up front and a .75" in the back to level out my '13 sport. I hope to swap out to the EVO 1.5" leveling kit in the near future. I have the RE front and rear relo kits and they seem fine. I can't remember how much I paid for both, but that seems like a good price you found. Let us know how that Pro Comp front works out for you after some time. It looks stout.

Remove that bracket = free

I carefully cut it off with a cut off wheel on a grinder.

Yeah, I removed it, and used a dremel to cut and bend it apart. Freed up the line. Problem solved. And it was free. Went through one dremel cut off wheel.....that's all

I wish I had known about them a year ago. I think the way aev does it is cheesy altho it works and have had no issues for the last 40,000 miles. good find.

Are the brackets necessary? I just bought a used kit without the extension brackets and am not sure if I should order brackets before install
