Default homemade sleeve question.

I was wondering if anyone has the size of tubes for dana 44.

Length for long side and short side
And thickness

For the inner sleeves. I have plenty of tubes laying around and since its free... i am not gonna bother spending 140$ on sleeves.

I just need to know the specs that i cannot seem to find.

Thank you in advance.

I'm considering this too. I saw this today...

SYNERGY MANUFACTURING*::*Jeep JK*::*Synergy Jeep JK, TJ/LJ, XJ, ZJ D30/44 Inner Axle Sleeve Kit

"Made from 2.0" x .250 1026 DOM Tubing (1.50" ID), Machined OD to fit snugly into the stock axle housing"

When I saw the "machined OD to fit snugly" and your post later, it made me wonder if standard DOM would work or if it in fact needs to be machined? I'm not trying to rain on your parade. I'd just hate to tear everything down just to find out it doesn't fit.

If you still need the lengths, I can go measure. I've got a pair of teraflex sleeves sitting in the garage...
