Default Change to RK progressive rate springs

I have a RK 2.5 Max Travel lift I installed on my 2010 JKU Rubicon since new ..... need to replace the 5100 Bilistien shocks, planning on Rancho 9000...would it be worthwhile to consider replacing the springs with RK's progressive rate springs to improve ride and overall performance of the suspension ???

I have the 3.5" max and swapped the older linear springs in the rear with the newer progressives to see if I could gain some load capacity. They are longer than the linears and I noticed a very slight ride improvement. They won't come out of the spring seat like the old ones at full flex but being softer, the load capacity is much worse. I was completely on the stops with my camping gear and the new springs where I would just tap the stops on the trail with the old. I put the linears back in.

Depends on what you're looking for but from what I've read, you may have good luck just swapping to the 9000s and saving your pennies on springs. I have a set of 9000s in the garage to replace my 5100s that I just haven't swapped yet.

Good luck

If you are definitely swapping shocks, do that first and see how the ride is.

I recently just swapped from the older RK 3.5's to the new triple rate 3.5's. A slight increase in ride comfort but nothing major.

Just out of curiosity, why are you replacing the Bilsteins?

The rears will definitely be the bigger difference going from a linear coil to our triple rate coil, but the fronts already being progressive in your kit will not be as much of a noticed change.
