Default LOD Shorty and Warn Zeon 10s Feedback

I have a 10A JKUR and wanting to install a winch, after doing some research on adding a winch to my 10A front bumper I have decided to invest in a new front bumper all together vs by a winch mounting kit for the 10A bumper. Overall, I really like the sleek look of the setup pictured below that Rebel Offroad did on the USS Rubicon Project and looking to recreate it on my jeep. Before I starting ordering parts I am looking for feedback from those who have LOD bumpers, Warn Zeon 10S winch and Ridgid Industries 20" Light Bar. For my setup I will most likely keep my factory fog lights for now. So here is a list of my questions:

LOD Signature Series Shorty
I intend on getting the bumper with winch guard, and skid plate. There are three options for coatings, non-coated (finish locally), texture black and zinc enriched 2 stage textured black. Looking for options on what is best. If you purchased without coating what were the reasons, if you purchased the 2 stage zine enriched in your opinion was it worth the up charge.

Warn Zeon 10S Winch
I understand Warn has a lifetime warrenty and is a reputuable mfg, are their any watchouts for this winch?

Ridgid Industies 20" SR Combo Hybrid Combo Spot/Flood
Any reasons not to go with RI?

In addition I plan on finishing winch with the Factor Prolink 55 Shackle Mount and D rings.

Thanks in advance for you feedback!

Had a set up like that with a mid width a couple years back. It's pretty common now and all three things you list are quality parts. Standard finish on the LOD stuff is enough. I've run their stuff on multiple jk and never had an issue.

Only comment I have is that I watched two new Warn Zeons fail on the trail last year. One was on its first pull and lasted 15 seconds, the other was on its third pull ever. Pretty low probability that there isn't an underlying issue when I was there to witness two failures. Also interesting that they have new high end version of it out now. For that kind of money, it should plain work. Also had a friend who had the more expensive cti and it lasted two pulls.

Those who know my builds know that cost really isn't relevant to me. I went with a $450 Engo 10S. I've used it more times than I can count and it has never flinched. A bit loud, but it pulls.

I can attest to the Engo. I know a few people that have their winches and never a problem. I have a Smitybilt X2O-8 Comp and it does ok for just pulling myself out of issues but I should have gotten the X20-12 Comp ($650 average) just for the added muscle. FYI, Comp is with the synthetic rope, a lot less weight.

FDHog and mattgt5 thanks for the LOD feedback. Invest2m4 and Jnorman831 same to you on the winch feedback. Now a few more questions for the forum.

1. Any other members with failed Zeon's if so did Warn stand behind their warranty and did Warn report what caused the failure?

2. Does anyone know if the 10a fog lights are the same as regular fog lights in factory jk bumpers? I noticed when researching Several LED fog lights there are special mounting brackets for the 10a. So I'm trying to determine if the 10a bumper is what drives the need for the brackets or if the fog's are the difference ?

My uncle works for warn and he told me to buy a remaned winch. His reasoning was that warn goes back through them and fixes whatever the issue was so you know there's not going to be any weak links in the winch. Plus there cheaper. I got my winch and warn stubby front bumper for a grand total of $700. Family discount of course. But yeah look into the remanufactured ones. They still come with warranties.
