Default cut fender woes

i have a '12 2dr with cut fenders, the front inner fenders are cut and the rears were cut but later removed. today while doing a thurogh cleaning i noticed water coming out my taillight while hosing the rear wheelwell. i pulled the taillight out and found the void behind it packed with mud. i plan on keeping my jeep a while so corrosion is a concern. i reinstalled my inner fenders but after cutting them they don't protect as well, the front has voids as well. i'm wondering if any of the aftermarket fender kits include new inner fenders or just cut the factory ones?

After installing PSC fenders and removing the rear inner plastic, I sprayed the rear wheel wells with black rubberized undercoat to stop stones chipping the paint and seal up any holes into the cab.

Take a better look in your fender well. The void behind the taillight isnt accessible from the fender. There is a foam piece on the bottom of the tub corner that is supposed to keep crap out, but in reality it doesn't do anything.

Buy a can of Great Stuff expanding foam.
shoot it at all the gaps.
when it's dry cut it to shape with a razor
paint it black.
While you have the foam out, shoot it under the front cut fenders and glue everything together to stiffen it up.

my front fenders are sealed with expaning foam and painted black a few years ago, it worked well. guess i never thought about the back. the voids i'm talking about are at the very top at the rear, you'll only see them with the liners out. the driver's side isnt as bad because the bottom can drain, but the passenger side only has a small drain that was packed with mud. it could hold water until it drained out the hole for the tailgate stop-strap. i was just hoping there was a cleaner looking option for my hacked up factory liners.
