Default What kind of lift to get?

I have a willy wrangler which has some rubicon suspension parts. I want a little higher lift but I'm not sure if I need a whole suspension lift or just a body lift. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If your looking for just a little boost in height, get a teraflex leveling kit for 130 bucks and call it a day. Makes a nice difference in the look of the jeep. I love the way my jeep is now.

I want to go off road but I'm also interested in the look. I was hoping to get something a less expensive right now and go big down the road. Tereflex leveling kit still the best option? I like the price lol. How much of a lift does that give? Thanks guys!!!

The spacer version is 2" front, 1" rear. The coil version could vary depending on weight.

Some people like body lifts, others don't. Regardless of personal opinion, lots of people are running them without issue. The plus is that they will add some height, you won't have to rip the entire suspension apart to install, and you won't have to deal with any of the issues that come with suspension lifts.

If you haven't already ready the lift sticky at the top of the modified section, do yourself a favor and read it; all 49 pages. I have read it twice and that is after I sold my Jeep.

In addition to the very first post by Dirtman, there are a handful of other just as useful posts in that thread that should answer your question. There are posts in that thread from members that are looking for the same thing you are.

Are body lifts difficult?

What size tire do you want to run? This will dictate a lot.

I would steer clear of body lifts. They don't look good. If you want a small lift a leveling kit would work great.
