What are some Ideas and thoughts on a decent Impact wrench? Not looking to break the bank but I want a Wrench capable of suspension work and lug removal. Thanks guys.

 

I have a Makita impact wrench BTW450Z, it has never let me down and been able to crack all nuts and bolts that I have attempted on my rig. I would definitely buy another one. A Snap On is badass but I don't make my living with tools so the Makita is a great alternative.

Second makita. They make good stuff and have lots of torque. Batteries last a good while on a single charge and charge quick. I have 18v lithium impact and drill. Great tools

 

Surprisingly my Harbor Freights $40 electric impact wrench is able to loosen my trackbar bolt that are torqued to 125ft lbs. Pretty decent impact wrench for the price

edit: Just noticed it said Cordless, My bad

 

I have the Kobalt 20v 1/2" drive, 350 ft lbs torque thing is a brute, hardly use my air impacts anymore...
Milwaukee makes a good one to...

 

Thanks guys. Ya I have a makita drill set regular drill and impact drill and has worked good. I know it doesn't have the ft lbs the Bosch has but possibly cheaper.

 

Love my 18v brushless milwalkee it's amazing what it will do after owning it I'd never think of buying anything else... We use the milwalkee 28v at work and leave them out in the rain and everything else I've literally seen water pour out of them never had one go bad yet

We have an Ingersoll Rand IQ V20 1/2" cordless impact. That's real beef. Last time I saw it tested, it out muscled the most powerful pneumatic 1/2" impact on the market. It has no problems hanging with 3/4" air impacts. Best part is that I can take it on the trail. Might seem like too much, but I've ran into many a rusted bolt on other JKs that my 1/2" air impact couldn't break free. IR didn't even break a sweat.

Even IR says it will hang with the top of the line 1/2" air impact.

i have the 1/2" dewalt with 3amp battery, took longer to find my bolt adapter for the wheels then it was to take it off in a creek with a broken valve stem.

 

Hands down the cordless ingersoll rand w7150-k2. At 780 ft. Lbs of torque and at $450 with 2 batteries its the best impact gun out. I have used Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita and they dont compare. The new snap on and matco claim the same power at double the price.
