Default Rough Country Body Lift?

Does anybody have any tips on how to easily remove the isolation bolts on the body mounts? Trying to install the 1.25" rough country body lift, tried beating them with a hammer like the instructions said but started to bend the mount. HELP!

Thought about torching them?

All this trouble hardly seems worth it for an 1"

Bench vise with some sockets to press them out may work. Or try heating just the bolt with MAP or Propane, careful of the rubber bushing on the mount.

Good luck

I think I used a socket. One that was bigger than the head of the welded stock bolt. Then just banged it out from the other side with a hammer. Shouldn't be that difficult.

I would be wary of hearing it, because of the bushing.

Maybe I will give it another try tomorrow, I'm not too impressed with the set up but I guess that's what I get for cheaping out and not getting the teraflex kit, oh well
