Default Axle swap prices

With all the different axles on the market, what is everyone paying to do theses swaps? Parts if you are doing it yourself or parts and labor if a shop does it. looking for pairs-F/R not front or rear. I'm trying to see if i can get some axle swaps in the price range cheap enough to get people to buy them.

Dynatrac PR80 pair ordered directly from Dynatrac. Larger brake rotors, thicker tubes, extra oiling circuit internally. New tierod and billet steering mount. ARB lockers, 5.38 gears. Dyna lockout hubs, stub hub kit. Few more degrees tilt on 3rd member for taller lift.

Around 18134.00 delivered to my door.

These suckers are heavy. One PR80 weighs the same as both factory axles assemblies combined. My tractor was pulling rear wheels off of ground when i tried to fork the crate up.

I bought these in jan or feb of 2014. They had a sale going on. Prolly cost more now. Not sure.

Had a few issues with my stock 44 rear so I started pricing my options for replacement. A semi float 60 rear is around 3500-5k depending on which you get. A mopar full float 60 rear is like 4200. At that price it doesn't make sense to buy semi float anymore. It's roughly 11.5k for the pair of mopar 60's. I paid roughly 5k for a prorock 44 front and a semi float prorock 60 rear is 4800. Making the 44 front 60 rear pair almost 10k. You could go cheap and buy core 44 front and rear for about 8k, but if you're going to spend that much why buy a set of 44's?

So if I understand you right you're trying to put together a pair of junkyard tons to sell. If you could put the pairs together with matching bolt patterns and selectable lockers for under 10k they would probably sell fairly well.

Why didn't you just build junkyard axles just as strong and save you about half that

Alot of people on here will likely go that route. They also have the time to waste figuring out whats wrong with it, the labor to repair it and figure out what year it is so they can find the damn parts to fix it only to find out its the wrong ones and have to go back and try again. Gotta order lockers because stockers wont have them. They also have the tools and the skills to set up ring and pinion because its never a matching gear set to the other axle.

Dynatracs are a proven, turn key system with a warranty. Also built with better components, not the cheapest vendor at time of production like stock parts. Also made from USA sourced parts and materials. The housing and tubing is 2-3times more durable and has reinforcement in known weak areas that the stockers have. The center section has already been undercut to improve clearance.

Thats why. Cheaper is usually just that, cheaper. These guys specialise in axles. Im done with building junkyard heros that i have to keep fixing my fixes. I want bulletproof reliability and durability and im willing to spend damn near whatever it takes to get what i want.

Yes im looking at junkyard swap priced around 13k with selectable lockers, 8 on 6.5 lug pattern so wheels would have to be changed but you would get full float rear axle, gearing of your choice, kp or bj front wheel bearings that can be serviced brakes that support 40"+ tires. Im just trying to see if they would sell.

Compared to the Mopar 60's at 11K...I don't think they would sell all that well.
