Default Who has advice on stingers?

I'm looking to get a poison spyder stubby and can't decide between the bfh plain one or the stubby stinger. I kind of like the stinger look and it's functional for offroad but does it make it harder to DD? Pics would be great too, thanks

I just installed a rock hard stubby stinger two weeks ago. My wife and I have no issue while daily driving so far... You will have to keep extra distance at stop lights from the car infront of you because people will look twice in their rearview mirror

I feel on the trail it will definitely help you judge lines over obstacles.

I've got a full stinger on my Metalcloak bumper. It just takes a couple days to get used to the nose being 2 feet longer. You also have to be a little more alert when driving so you don't t bone someone and decapitate them.

The stinger on the BFH sticks out almost as must as it sticks up.
"The optional Trail Stinger™ is similar in proportion to the famous Poison Spyder Trail Stinger™. This time-honored design has proven itself on hundreds of Jeeps over the past decade, providing simple, clean lines along with a measure of forward-flop protection. The Trail Stinger™ extends 13.4" forward from the front edge of the bumper, and 17" high from the top surface of the bumper."
That's a lot of length to add to a jeep.

I have the ps comp stinger.. It really doesn't get in the way as much as you'd think it would.

They are also great for your lady friends to hold on to when they have to pee on the trail...
