Default JK Hard Top Rattles at the top of the doors?

Just put on a hardtop and it does nothing but rattles and shakes as I drive. I'm nor sure how Jeep could design a product like this. All of the bolts and fasteners are secure.

has anybody else had this problem? I'm kinda over having to fix all of Jeeps issues myself.

I take mine on and off 10 times a year and no problems.

I would find an exploded diagram of the hardtop and make sure I have all of the gaskets and seals in place. Something like the replacement parts breakdown from Quadratec comes in handy for stuff like this.

Its like brand new nothing is missing but thanks for the diagram. I'll take some photos just to be sure and post them here in a minute.

Hmmm. Has it leaked any water or do the freedom panels rattle if you shake them while they're off?

I even took a few test rides in newer Jeeps yesterday and they don't seem to have hardly any of the issues my Jeep has. I'm not sure if I should just try to attempt to fix me Jeep or just get a newer one. Sadly the newer Jeeps with the more powerful engine are still very sluggish. I guess I would still have to get a 6 sp manual in a newer model. The wait for the transmission to kick over on the automatic is pretty painful.

If it's rattling then you've got something wrong, mine doesn't make a peep.
What exactly shakes?

the jeep rattles when I start moving. So it has to be the tires. I have the BFG mud terrain tires and they are terrible on street. I'm thinking of going back to street tires just to fix this issue.

No way the tires could make the top rattle if it is on correctly. Have you physically got in there and pushed around everywhere to see if it's loose somewhere.
