Default Anybody ever done a 3 seater?

I'm thinking of figuring out a way to have just one side in the back of my 2 Door.
Ideas:
-Put a little jump seat from a pickup back there and put a seat belt receptacle.
-Cut a stock back seat in half. stitch up the open side and leave the brakets to still make it fold up and removable.
-Install a front seat on the brackets for the rear seat, but those seem to be pretty expensive

I'd like to be in the project only 3-400 bucks.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Exactly what I was thinking, only I can't seem to find anything remotely close to that price

Maybe you could pull a front passenger seat out of a wrecked 2 door somewhere.

Yea that is exactly what I'd like to do if I could find one for reasonable money. Project just isn't worth $1000 to me. I'd rather get a $200 jump seat and bolt it to the floor

Check the junkyards for the single rear half of a JKU. My rear JKU seat splits 2/3 and 1/3 like most SUVs. Or if you really wanted jump seats you could model one after the old defenders or land cruisers.

Old defender seat was definately an option and theyre pretty cheap. I found a single seat from a yard that delivers so I may go that route. My idea is to mount the bracket right to the floor so that its as low and possible and someones head doesn't hit the roof.

If I do a defender seat I'll probably have it mounted sideways and have it flip up like they do on land cruisers and pickups and such.

Something along these lines

To be honest after looking at the options, as long as I can get the seat belts to function properly, these defender seats look like a better option.
