Default Is it a bad thing to mix springs?

I have some rancho springs on the front that came with a kit and stock rubi springs on the back with a puck. Is this a bad idea?

That is the way the 2" sport kit comes. I have it on mine. However I swapped the stock rear springs for 2.5" Rubicon Express. The application has been perfect for me and I've had no issues.

I was just on the phone with some guys from quadratec and they said the only lift kit worth buying is an AEV kit with OME shocks and he said my Jeep probly rides crappy because it has mixed springs.

Mine rides perfectly fine. Any advice given is gonna be someone's personal preference. I spoke to Rancho about it and they recommended springs from their sister company to fix my reverse rake. I couldn't get my hands on them so threw the express springs on. You'll have to find what works for you and your application.

The only kit worth buying is the most expensive (relative to quality) brand?! Shocking... AEV lifts ride great from what all my friends say. However, there are other great options that don't require a contract for your first born.
