Default Anybody else having problems loading FlashPaq tunes on their JK?

I just got my brand new Flashpaq yesterday, it took 3.5 hours to download the "updates" from the Spark program. Went out to load the 87 Octane tune today, took 35 minutes to save my Stock tune, then it kicked me out while trying to load the new tune. unplugged it from the OBD port, re-connected it and it started to re-save my Stock tune again. It took "only" 30 minutes this time, then i moved the controller from my lap to the passenger seat, it blanked out and started all over again. So to this point i have spent over 5 hours tring to get this thing to work and am still at step 1.

Am i doing something wrong? this isnt the forst time ive messed with tuning, just never had one blank out when i moved it.

Something's not right. I did mine last weekend. Less than an hour to update via Spark including downloading Spark, but did take about 45 minutes total to load in the 87 octane tune on my Jeep. I'd recommend contacting Superchips, that 3.5 hours is wrong.

Its already updated and couldve been my Wifi connection or something. The trying to load the tunes on the Jeep is what has me concerned. It seemed to take an awfully long time and then it re-starting and then blanking out. Guess I just need to handle the Flashpaq like an egg and not move it.

I've seen a few threads where the newer one, 3872, is slower getting the stock tune and loading up the first tune, typically 45-60 min. Haven't tried to change tunes after the first load though.

+1. Something is for sure wrong. I did mine a week or so ago as well.. Wasn't "fast", but absolutely not in the hours range.

Finally got it to load the tune after 2 more ties. It did flash out on me again, think it has something to do with the cable connection on the unit itself. Loaded the 87 Octane tune, fixed my speedo, gear ratio and did the running lights with high beams. All seems to work as advertised now. Thanks for the help!
