Default Daystar hood vents

So I purchased these to help with the heat from the blower and now that cutting large holes in the jeep is no longer an abstract concept (in that it is time to do it) I thought I had better ask you guys if you have had experience with these vents and is it actually worth installing them.

thanks in advance.

they work great! My other half has them on his Rubicon since last year......when you go to cut the holes, cut the line otherwise you will have to file the edges down a little bit. Trust me we know from experience.
It does let the jk breath better and run cooler.
I even bought a set for my rig!

I figured once I cut the hood for the snorkel adding three big holes for cooling was no big deal. Suggestions:

Watch the Daystar videos on YouTube a couple of times.

buy a Harbor Freight pneumatic Nibbler if you have a compressor that'll drive air tools, if not they sell an electric one.

Cover the areas our the hood that you'll be working with overlapping rows of 2" masking tape.

I've been very happy with mine.
