Default Low tire pressure light with 43psi

Recently got my XHDs installed on my 35s. I forgot the shops like to air up to the max. I was driving today and the light came on. First it was blinking for 2 minutes, then stayed on. Checked the psi, they're all around 43. I usually run 30 psi and never had a problem. I programmed it to turn on at lower than 28. What gives ?

Yours doesn't tell which tire is the problem?

I would take it back to the tire shop and have them read each sensor to see what it's sending for a signal.
One of them may have been damaged.

Or if the sensors were transplanted from older rims the battery could be depleted, like mine.

It's a 2011. Doesn't tell me which tire. Do 2012+ let you know which tire ?

They may have rotated in the spare tire rim. The battery is likely dead. It will take a day or two for the tire to spin and charge the battery in the sensor. This happened to me when I had to swap a tire with the spare. Good luck.

Your tire pressure light will come on if the air pressure is to high as well, It's more of a warning that you need to check your tire pressure Air those things down man, your driving on rocks!

Transferring sensors doesn't drain the battery, they just transmit a constant signal to a reciver. If they start ticking out trouble codes as the batteries die (unreplacable watch batteries btw) your light will come and go. Something like 40 trouble codes in a row will trigger your light. Don't buy sensors at the dealership!

Also cold battery and warm battery will set off the warning light. Let's say your cold battery gets warmed up while driving dropping the strength of the battery your light will come on. Then go back off when stopped and the tires and wheels cool.
