Default Cost for a Long Arm Alignment?

Ok, so I've searched for a while and can't find a good answer...

How much should it cost to do an alignment on a fully adjustable long arm kit ( full traction ). I know the local tire shop can do alignments and that Firestone offers lifetime alignments etc., but I want to take it to a shop that has experience with lifts...

My first quote was for $225...

The jeep is driving straight and I don't have any issues on the highway, but the last time I got my tires rotated they said that one of them had a bad wear pattern and it was likely caused by the lift being out of alignment.

What are you aligning? Long arm shouldnt affect anything at all. If there all adjustable should give them more to adjust instead of saying they cant. I have the lifetime firestone for 125 bucks one time fee. Rest are free.

If it tracks straight I would not think the arms would need adjustment. The tire wear would be caused more likely from the toe in or camber.

My local Firestone wouldn't touch mine. "Adjustable arms take too much time..."

I wouldn't trust any shop unless they had a good reputation.

If it's a legit shop that actually knows what they're doing, you can expect to pay $200-$250 for a full alignment. That means they adjust all eight arms and know why they're doing it. It's worth it if you can find a shop with the right equipment and knowledge, just have to find it.

Yeah I have the lifetime warranty alignment with them as well, but they won't adjust control arms, at least mine won't.

OP you can always get underneath and measure your control arms. Get an alignment spec sheet and see what it says.

I have the Full-Traction 3" Long Arm kit and my local place doesn't charge any more based on the length of the control arms. I think it's $59 and I feel like I'm ripping them off.

How do you like your lift?

Same here, I made them give me a full refund. I asked them what the hell we were paying for if they don't work with adjustable control arms. Because Camber isn't adjustable and Caster isn't moving without them. I got them to admit they want'ed $140 just to set the toe-in and I got my money back.
