Default Rear end and housing help!!!
I have recently bought my first JKU. I'm trying to figure out what all the aftermarket parts are. It air locking rear end. The housing it self has a spider on it

That's a poison spyder differential covers

No, theres 3 companies that make air lockers for a JK, Yukon, ox, and ARB. Gears could be any brand, and it doesn't really matter what brand they are.

Oh ok. So it dose not matter really want brand the air locker is. Dose it help any? Sorry for all the dumb questions. I found a good deal on a build JKU. The guy did not know much about it. He got it for payment on a job.

no no no no

that is just the differential cover. that has nothing else to do with anything inside. take more pictures for us...you have a lot to learn

I get that the poison spider is just a cover. I was asking about the air lock now and yes I do have a lot to learn. Thanks for the help.

What color is the air line going into the housing? Is it blue? The switch to activate the locker does it say ARB on it?

all the lines going in are black. As u can see the switch itself said rear air lock
