Default Horsepower Improvements ???

My 2008 JKU has only about 200HP and I want to give it more HP.

What do I need to mod or buy to give it a boost and in what order do you buy them?

Exhaust first? Chip progger? Cold air intake? I'd like for it to be a little louder too but not to the point that makes my neighbors mad.

Thanks for looking

Most of them will give minimal gains. You might see 15-20 hp advertised, but that is up at 5000 rpms, where the majority of us will never be. Expect more like 5 hp for normal driving. You may be able to feel it seat-of-the-pants, or you may not. Decide if the gains are worth the price tag...

If you want real gains, look at forced induction or an engine swap.

Re-gear or get a Supercharger, about the only two things that will make a legitimate difference (gears depending on what you've got now vs what tire size you're running).

Creative editing on the hp numbers? Hemi swap that wasn't listed? But he does have the newer 3.6 that starts with 80 more hp than your 3.8
