Default Synergy Trackbar and Synergy Axle side bracket.. pinch/gap

Is the bracket supposed to pinch down on the trackbar? Big gap/pinch between the inside of the bracket and the trackbar joint...

My track bar does. Drag link and tie rod don't.

Was I supposed to use these in that joint and run the bolt through them??

Yes .. Those are misalignment spacers to allow the joint to twist...
Also .. Center the joint up before you tighten the pinch bolt.

X2. Probably should remove the bracket to straighten the ears. Be sure no welds break.
