Default Rancho RS9000XL shocks, Settings

Have just received my new RS 9000 rancho shocks, not sure of which #'s to use on adjustable settings....do most of you using these, just use one setting for all around use or change the settings for hwy to offroad use??? what are preferable #'s for hwy??? for offroad (moderate trails in Ouray and Moab) ???thanks....2010 JKU, RK 2.5 Max Travel lift, 5.13's, 33' AT tires, stock front and rear bumpers.

Clear coat them several times before installing. Only had mine a year and the are rusted and rotting already.

I've not had rust issues but I keep a coat of wax on my frame and as far as settings I run the lowest setting front and back the ride is unbelievable! I'm running synergy springs and rock crawler lowers

3 in front, 4 or 5 in the back it can get a little woggly back there so some control is needed.

One winter , mine are rusting grrrr I love the ride of these shocks but not the rust factor ! They surely could give them better protection at the factory i feel , the clear coat is just not good enough for a NewEngland winter with road salt but they do make my jeep ride 100% better . Setting i found i like is 4 in rears and 2 up front
