I've had it on my 12 JKU for almost 3 years. Yes there is drone inside. I'm happy with it no regrets.

How loud is it? Is it obnoxious loud where you tick off your neighbors every time you fire it up or is it just loud enough to know you have an exhaust under there?

Im ok with some exhaust noise, but to get to wheeling places i have tk travel a few hours. The drone would drive nuts.

i would suggest this one: https://youtu.be/od7Ui-TRoF0 (2012-2013 aFe Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hi-Tuck "RB" Exhaust 49-46232)

i like it a lot. i have a soft top and do not find it too loud. its not obnoxious but lets you know you aren't stock. i have had several people compliment me on it while wheeling.

It's what I run, and, probably like most people, although I live to wheel, I put most of my miles on on the street and freeways. When I went to switch out my exhaust it was for clearance and to get rid of the low-hanging rear muffler, not to make my Jeep sound like a muscle car. I specifically went with this aFe exhaust after hearing it on other Jeeps. No, it isn't stock, but for an aftermarket exhaust the sound is, if anything, understated. You're not going to wake neighbors or have to shout at your passenger running this exhaust.

Cool. Yeah, I also want an exhaust for the off roading benefits. Specifically to get rid of that nasty can in the back. Just not a huge fan of loud exhausts. A little bit of a grunt is OK but can't stand those overly loud exhausts that everyone seems to love. If it's OK with a soft top on, then it must not be too bad. Thanks

I ordered the axle back high tuck; it'll be here tomorrow. I'll get it installed this weekend and post a video.

Got the 2.5" axle back installed. Glad I left the resonator in. Gets pretty loud on hard acceleration. I really like this setup. My zoom recorder is charging but I'll get video up as soon as it's ready. Here's a pic for now.
