Default 1" performance accessories body lift??

Specific question about the performance accessories 1" body lift (part #993 is all I see listed).

It says it will only fit an auto tranny and I cannot figure out why. From what I can tell and have read the only big difference is the shifter boot which has to be trimmed or get the rough country adapter. But the PA kit is only $70; and I can't see much difference between body lift "A" vs body lift "B". An inch is an inch right?

So has anyone with a manual tranny tried this kit? Did it work?

I ran the teraflex 1.25 bodylift with my manual for over a year with no problems. I had to trim my shifter boot and add the adapter from rough country. With pre 2011 models you may get away with not trimming the boot but you still need the adapter. Unless you raise your entire transmission getting the shifter adapter is a necessity for all model years if you have a manual. I no longer have the body lift so im selling my adapter here
