Default OME 4" lift w/ Synergy Drag Link Flip

Anybody have this combo? I have the OME 4" lift on my 2012 JKU and feel slight bump steer on surface streets. Rides smooth as glass on the freeway though.

Manufacture aside, any left upwards of 4 inches will benefit with steering correction.

Flip the drag link and raise your track bar (Synergy Bracket). I did two weeks ago and it made a huge difference!

I have over 4" with the all synergy components up front, no bumpsteer. How parallel are the trackbar and draglink?

And it is bumpsteer you are feeling? Not low caster or steering stab push or radial pull or out of balance tires or non-rotated tires or ...

This is my front set up and my drag link looks pretty parallel to my track bar. It seems that if I flip my drag link, it would be higher than my track bar. Am I missing something?

Ok, I'm confused. The title says that you currently have a flipped drag link?

Take a pic from an angle that shows the bolt holes at both ends of both bars. Open it in paint, put straight lines from hole to hole on both bars.

When you flip the drag link, you also add a raised bracket for the trackbar. They work together. Stock, both bars are parallel and at a semi-flat angle. After a lift, they are parallel, but at steep angles. After flip, they are parallel, and at roughly stock angles.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't have a flipped drag link. I'm asking if anyone that has my lift (4" Old Man Emu), have they flipped their drag link and if so has the steering improved or got worse? My steering isn't bad by any means but this is my first Jeep and I feel it could be a little tighter because it jerks right or left a bit when I hit potholes.

Your track bar and drag link are parellel becauase they are both in the stock location. The angle is what increases the bump steer/loss of leverage. You want the angles the same, so if you flip the drag link, you need to raise the track bar at the axle so they are back at the same angle again. If you don't the bump steer will get worse as they are traveling on different paths and working against each other. The more parellel to the ground they are, the better the steering. That is why you flip the drag link and raise the track bar.

That all said, if you have not done anything to adjust your caster, that is the first place to start. At 4", it will be waaaay low and that will very much make the ride and steering worse.

Thanks but since this kit doesn't come with adjustable control arms to adjust caster, it uses new washers that are installed after a new hole is drilled just rear of the stock location of the front mount of the lower control arms. So in essence the caster was adjusted for the lift.
